I tried giving them papaya innards and rind, and they would have noooone of it. So...they got BOSS and oatmeal instead :/

We have a lame chicken, and a soon as we give her a grape, they all rush over and peck it out of her beak! The poor thing can't run that fast.

You guys should try juicing because all of the leftover pulp is the perfect size for the chickens even though right now they aren't as thrilled about it as they were during the summer time. Yesterday was honey dew, kale, kiwi and carrots. Oh and my cat doesn't like his dried fish treats so now it's theirs

Temps are dipping down to 5, so today I fed them a nice warm breakfast of oatmeal and scratch. Last night it was some leftover hamburger.

What do I kneed to feed my1 week old wyandottes

They need to be on a chick starter feed (as much as they want) and always supply fresh water, but not too deep. You can place marbles in a shallow water dish so they can't fall in and drown. I used a tupperware lid when my babies were really small and it was just deep enough to hold water but too shallow to cause any issues.
