Ditto that, in addition, mine don't get treats if they don't give in return.... Treats work both ways... give an egg, get a treat... if only I can teach them to read the contract...

I've found that mine really do better with the egg laying when I do treat them.

Only raisins today but you would have thought they didn't have any food at all in their run!

More treats today. Some left over tortillas. The roo was all over them. Not so much the hens haha

It was cold and wet today so they got oatmeal with apples and hot popcorn with cayenne.

We culled the male duck that has become aggressive with the hens. After we roasted him and poured his fat over oatmeal...he went to the chickens and dogs. (Too fat, not a whole lot of meat for us) We called it the hens getting justice for all the damage he's done to their back feathers in the last week. :/ Naughty duck.
