Just been building a new chicken run and while I was doing the ground work there were loads of big fat worms, my girls went mental! Running around with a big worm so funny.

Today I ate my lunch outside and gave everyone bites. Bread? spit it out. Tomato? spit it out. Steak bit? OMG. They were chasing each other around when one would get a tidbit. It was hilarious.

Ok I'm new to raising chickens, I have 4 babies that are just starting to get their feathers and their fluff is slowly going away. I've had them about a week. Right now they get medicated chick food and water, when can I start giving them yummy treats? Any tips would be awesome! Thank you!

It's a matter of personal preference. I don't give anything but starter/grower and grit till they start foraging outside and even then no 'treats' till they're a couple months old.
