Only thing available on this side of the island are live 100 ct for $8!!!! I'll be buying dried on amazon going forward buy buyer beware, some are raised and processed in China. I'm not ok with that..

Mine tore apart a baked sweet potato, and ate until their beaks were clumped with orange mush, and a couple handfulls of wheat. My husband is a scale technician and gets it by the 5 gallon bucketfull from one of the granaries, for free. They LOVE it.

After having organic sprouted beans for a couple of days, I decided to share the wealth and made them a nice garlic, oregano & thyme omelette. Served warm on a chilly morning seemed to be just the ticket. They would have eaten it cold, too, as they are quite voracious in the mornings!

Bananas. Hubby won't eat them when the skins get spotty brown. The girls love them.
