Now that the Snow Peas are done and harvested, I am moving their container to where the girls can find it .... fresh snow pea plants on the menu today!

My six new girls got dried marigolds, nasturtiums, cucumbers that started to turn yellow in the frig, tomatoes, spinach, corn and comfrey. They are loving there treats.

Today they are mainly eating layers pellets and corn with a treat of dried mealworms which they love. If I try to sprinkle 4 or 5 piles of mealworms so all 4 can get them, Bluebelle, the Sunnyside Blue hybrid spins around in the middle pecking as many mealworms as she can from each pile to stop the other 3 getting any. One day I will get this on film.

One i make on the back of the libby can of pumpkin. Just leave out the sugar. And i had an extra cracked egg and tossed it in. Left out salt too. My freezer crust was freezer burned, and i have some pecked eggs and figured,eh, why not?! Lol.
