Left over homemade taco (our 3 yr old decided she was full) in a soft shell with hamburger, and cheese inside it.

Cantaloupe trimmings and guts w/seeds, Fresh weeds and grass with dirt and roots, leftover hamburger with italian herbs (too little to use and too spicy for dogs), okra trimmings, onion trimmings, carrot tops and trimmings. Saving squishy and buggy tomatoes, more okra trimmings, bolted lettuce and probably more cantaloupe for later tonight.

A local brewery supplies me with spent grain every now and then. The birds go crazy for that stuff.

I freeze some into blocks for them to eat on hot days.

Best idea I've heard all day!

Mine got about 3 inched of leaf litter and weeds with dirt, many worms and bugs, and a few lizards and tiny snakes. Raked/dug out a piece of brush between driveway and new parking pad. They are dirty happy birds!
