What treat did your chickies get today?

Mine had some alfalfa spouts. They weren't that crazy about them but did finish them all.

A Nice Black Plum, which the four of them tore up in seconds!

Yesterday they had squash innards and found themselves a dead mouse that one of the cats had killed.

I think I'll give their tummies the day off from anything other than regular feed, today.

Today, mine are gonna get some bread, some cantaloupe and maybe a cheese rind. yum yum!

Boss and seven grain bread. We go to the day old bakery to buy our bread and for every 10$ you spend you get stuff that they are gonna chuck We always get stuff for them when we go then we just freeze it and give it to them here and there.

The baby flock got leftover scrambled egg and hashbrowns.
The adult flock is right now enjoying one of their favorite treats - leftover mashed potatoes.

Our birds get plenty of our excess goat's milk. They love it!!!

Had a breakfast of organic alfa alfa & brassica sprouts. Can't give too much due to their high water content but they love having fresh crisp greens.

Leftover spaghetti noodles (no sauce). Normally I save this for myself for the next days leftovers, but I managed to drop the bowl on the floor on the way to the fridge last night and my weiner dogs ran up and licked them. I don't think the chickens really cared, but I myself was a little turned off those noodles....
