I am feeding Nutrena Naturewise and up until the Great Moult happened I was still getting 3-5 eggs daily.
Now I hoard my eggs like precious gems, or like Elaine on Seinfeld: I determine what recipe is "egg-worthy"

Today's treat was warm oatmeal with cutup baked pumpkin skin (still some flesh on it), canned mackerel (boy that REEKS!) & plain yogurt.

How sad is it that I am considering buying eggs just so I can add a couple to their oatmeal for the added protein?
Not sure I can deal with the mackerel stink early in the morning

Raisins, bird seed, white wheat bread and boss. Yesterday they got canned corn, romaine, scratch, banana (did not seem to like that) and a little white wheat.

Oatmeal made with heated up leftover veggie water from last night's dinner, mixed with bacon fat and some leftover melted butter/lamb grease from two night's ago dinner. Mixed with some horse sweet feed... the hot water makes a wonderful mash & stuffs their crops with yummy warmth.

I just took some cooked scotch oats , cooled with a dollop of plain yogurt and a splash of ACV out to my little" herd". It was only in the high 20's today but we got SUNSHINE!!!

. They gobbled it up and now they're heading for bed.

Girls got BOSS for the first time today! Think they liked it or I hope so Cause I bought a 50 LB bag for $18 sounded like a good price to me plus I'll give it to the blue Jays so they hang around and next week well have Oatmeal and BOSS

Today they got some sunflower seeds and yogurt. Yesterday they got some oatmeal, bargain brand crasins, and some leftover stew. I should also add one of them caught a mouse and there was a bit of a game of keep away but by the time I got outside to get a better look our Australorp had downed it.
