What treat did your chickies get today?

So tell me... what do you all think mealworms? I saw something about keeping and breeding mealworms for feeding chickens.
Any pros or cons you have with them?

My Lord after reading some of your posts, I'm shocked how well you feed your chickens. Mine get some left overs but not to this degree, lol.

Got some fruit trees and the Chickens and other fowl get some of those.

A dried sunflower head with thousands of seeds, leftovers of lettuce that I picked from the garden, and dozens of strawberries that had nibbles out of them from insects and birds as I picked them.

Mine are getting plain yougurt mixed with blueberries.

Lets see last week they got left over watermelon rinds from my neighbor, today they got some oats in their feed.
I have not had much leftovers to give them lately. They have been picking at the grass for bugs when I can let them out. Its been raining here like every other week. We did have some rain come threw again today but they just went in the coop till it was over and they are back out again.
tonight I have some corn on the cob left over from dinner the other night that I will give them.

Tried giving them bell peppers and they just looked at me like an idiot

yesterday they got left over french fries from the hamburger joint and today it was left over spaghetti.......fat and happy
