On Christmas they get they get the turkey carcess,they love it,you would not believe how short of a time it was and no meat left on the bones.Should have taken a picture.

Well they almost got the leftover grilled cheese sandwiches from school but I gave them away. so they'll get some apples and bread and scratch.

The chickens were really happy today - they got all the Thanksgiving leftovers we are tired of eating. Stuffing, corn souffle, cobbler, mac & cheese, pumpkin cheesecake, chocolate-mint torte.

fermented oats, garden greens and dubias, they still have the pumkin they are refusing to eat.

oh and some dead mealy beetles.

Light on the snacks today. All they got was left over Spanish rice mixed with birdseed and rolled oats. Boy, they didn't seem to want to go out today and chased me every time they saw me. . hoping for food.
