What treats do you give your chickens?

I see a lot of mention of cabbage on here, do chickens really enjoy it?

Mine do! I'll screw a hook into a head of it and hang it in their run for them.

I have meal worms and boss, they seem perfectly content with scratch grains tho. Will go bonkers for scrambled eggs and enjoy a hanging head of cabbage.

I started fermenting their feed a couple days ago in hopes of cutting down on their daily treats. They apparently like it just as much as oatmeal! Sometimes I'll mix in a couple berries or cinnamon/cayenne pepper for them as well.

Do they like cinnamon? I know about cayenne and garlic to prevent parasites but why the cinnamon?

Mine will eat anything.

Had to shoo them off cat litter earlier (dumped the cat litter mat outside, didn't think the chickens would eat it..)

They don't mind cinnamon. I don't think they even know it's there XD. I've heard it can be good for respiratory health. Again, probably a myth, but one there's no harm in trying.

Mine are very picky with anything other than their feed or grains/seeds. Their absolute favorite is scratch with sunflower seeds, but I limit it to a couple times a week. They also like the occasional blueberry or scrambled egg. The only "treat" I give them every day is wet feed, they absolutely love it.

Today they got a handful or so of sunflower seeds along with their fermented feed. I also tossed a couple sunflower seeds in their treat ball (I should never be allowed to go to TSC), and that kept them busy for a while! Also gave them the tops of three or four strawberries. It's started to warm up here (it's leaped from 30 degrees to 60 in two days!), so I let them out for over an hour to celebrate! Three of them enjoyed the world's longest dust (mud?) bath, while the fourth desperately devoured the tiny blades of grass starting to come up!

Flock party is my favorite brand of treats. I give them bulk chicken mealworms from amazon , and some Dumor 10 or 5 grain scratch. Mine do not like the fly fiesta from flock party

I just got a flock block type thing from that Flock Party!
