Anything is possible at feed stores. They can get chicks from anywhere.

It depends if they source the chicks from a local farm/hobbyist or if they get chicks from a hatchery.

I don't believe this is from a hatchery, as it appears to be a mix. Stunning little bird.

Im starting to wonder what’s going on at TSC’s these days. Looks like silkie/Cochin mix.

I too would think black silkie and black cochin cross and more importantly I want some think it's gonna be a real beauty when done feathering out fully.
