Sweet! Black birds do often have a green sheen and tend to do well in shows.

My mutt babies that have both cochin and silkie in them have the softest silkiest pleasant to feel feathers ever. and they are beautiful (Had to say that in case they read this)

Picked up my little mob today I"m so tickled and they seem so much more lively than the rattle and thump babies I get at the farm store. I can't wait to start breeding my black silkie roos to my black cochins hens. I love the feel of the feathers that makes. better than kittens for sure.
