What type of geese are these? And are they boys or girls?

I'm so glad to hear that. Is this the one that stepped on the syringe? I don't recall if it's you I was conversing with , and I can't locate the old thread at the moment...

The grey one is limping a bit again today, so we are having the vet out on Thursday (he's out of town now) so we can settle this "is he a boy or is he a girl?" business once and for all. :)

Can you soak her foot in some warm Epsom salt water in the mean time. [just don't let her drink it]

Your geese are so fortunate to have so many people concerned with their care !!! Sometimes it literally does take a village. I hope your Vet. can help the goose with the sore foot and that you get what you're hoping for in regards to their gender! Will you name them then...or do they already have names and my brain just froze ??? Either way, let us know how it goes, OK...

We've been to four pharmacies, two grocery stores and a spa and no one has epsom salt! The vet is coming in the morning, though, and he has experience with waterfowl so I am just going to wait for him.

The goose in question is named Sopheap. In Khmer it means gentle or polite, and it's a name for either boys or girls. So it suits him or her perfectly. :)

SopHead...now there's a name for you !!! Never in a million years could you have told me that name and I'd think of the word, 'gentle'. But considering what he's been through, and he still lets you pick him up, it's fitting! Keep in touch.
