What type of heat lamp?

I am currently using a regular light bulb that you would use in your house...it is really bright and I worry that it is blinding my chickens. Is it?

Don't worry, it will not blind your chickens.

Sorry. I was wondering if the light I am using now is too bright for my chickens... I am using a regular house light as a heat lamp for my chicks.

Lots of folks use white light to brood chicks. It's not going to hurt them. Red lamps are less glaringly bright and the Ecoglow gives off no light so lots of folks prefer those options but don't confuse what is ideal with what is necessary.
