What Type of Rooster is This? (Super blurry)

Alright so, when I was a young kid my parents had chickens - my dad had chosen all of these "interesting" breeds (many of which were not very good egg layers). I remember we had one beautiful black and creme colored rooster who was a sweetheart, but the only picture I have of him is this terrible blurry one. I'm hoping to find another one like him but I have NO idea what he was (and my parents don't know either). I doubt it's possible, but can anyone tell what he is from this terribly blurry picture?!

Ohhh, polish are the one's with the poofy heads right? I remember that we did have some of those poofy-headed girls, so maybe he was a cross? I sort of remember watching chicks hatch when I was a kid, so maybe we had crosses. I don't remember him having any "poof" though, lol.

You're probably right! Unfortunately, though, that means I'll likely not ever know what his mix was, or get another similar to him.

Nope he didn't. His legs were dark grey with no feathers at all!

I'm looking up faverolles now - it looks like they are much beefier than he was - he was rather skinny. However, if I'd like to get a rooster with the same color effect, a faverolle looks like it might be the answer! They do have a lot more color than he did, and I did like how simple and "classy" he looked - lol!

He's not a Faverolle.

He is a cross bred and might have Polish or even Houdan in him.
