Quote: I *really* like that site, but it doesn't explain that a one day dose won't treat capillary worms and and gape worms. It's also not obvious to most that the doses listed are for a five pound bird.

I dont particularly like that site at all.
If I dose the chickens with safeguard for 5 days, do I then redoes in 10 days? I have a confirmed case of roundworms.
What eggs were found in your dogs fecal?Thank you! I'll probably redose in 10 days. I found out that they have roundworms because it showed up in my dog's fecal test. She eats chicken poop like it is her job. The vet said that they can't hurt the dog, though.
Eimeria (coccidiosis - keeping an eye on that. No symptoms in the hens right now) and heterakis (roundworm). The vet called me because she was confused, as neither of them are dog parasites. As long as the dog doesn't have diarrhea, there is no reason to be concerned for her, according to the vet. I'm treating the chickens for roundworm and keeping an eye on the cocci situation.
