Hello! I hatched a chicken from an egg and I don't know if it is a mix or not. I'm would like to show it but I can't if I don't know what breed and variety it is. So per the American Standard of Perfection what breed and variety is this bird? I believe it is an americuana but I am unsure of the variety. Thank you!

Pretty Easter egger hen.

she's not a standard bred bird, can not be shown at an APA show. If you're a 4-H member you may be able to use her in showmanship, etc.

Easter Egger. That isn't a recognized breed, so you can't show her at a open/club poultry show. You might be able to show her in a 4-H egg laying hen class or use her for showmanship, though.

Depending on your county you may be able to show her in open but you will not be able to take Reserve or Grand. I would suggest contacting the county agent or maybe asking the judge who usually judges to see if you could show her and if so in what classes.
