What voltage to keep a dog out?

My fence stuff arrived .... i zoomed off to get myself grounding rods and then i realized how hard it would be to
install. Where I live in South Florida the ground is really hard, mostly coral rock, and the grounding rod is 8ft long!!!!
I just don't know how i'm ever going to get that into the ground.... is there another way???

Is the ground for your house electric close so you could use that ground instead of driving in another one?
