A friend had a really awesome hatch rate, so I got 2 baby chicks :love but I am playing the guessing game! Up first we have a beautiful cream/black bird. Is it a cockerel? Is it a pullet? Is it a true ameracuna? (my friend said yes, but I am think it's really an EE)
This little one was hatched on 3/17-18 so it is just over 4 weeks old.
It wa being chased around by one of the older ladies so its comb/wattles are a touch flushed.
If I need more photos I will take them later.

You may need to post a new picture when it's 6 weeks or more. It's hard to sex before then.

It looks like a pullet far, but because of its age I'm not sure.

Idk enough about breeds to help you guess the breed

Thanks i know it is a little young. But I am nervous, lol.

What about the coloring is saying cockerel?

Black white patterning is very common in EE cockerels. Pullets may also have this coloring, but the patterning is somewhat different. A free standing profile picture would be far more helpful for an attempt at gender ID. Again it is really too early for guaranteed gender identification.

Thank you! Very Imformative! Does this photo help?
