i have a black australorp roo with some americana hens if i hatch there eggs what wiil i get in color wise and will the future hens lay blue and green eggs

1. You have Easter Eggers, which are mutts, so you really don't know much about their genetics.

If the hen lays blue/green eggs, then your F1 chicks will be olive-eggers.

Olive Eggers are a blue/green layer x DARK brown layer. They wouldn't be olive eggers,

Just Easter Eggers.


Because nearly but not all Easter Eggers from hatcheries are duckwing based, your offspring will be mostly black with silver or gold tickling on the neck and possibly the breast. They'll lay green and some brown eggs.
