What will my EE grow up to look like?

It might just take longer because there's so many pictures? Theres like 600 haha I'll try to narrow it down to maybe just a few from day old, few from a few weeks, etc.

Idk when ill have time though with classes but yeah. Sorry there keep being issues with my pictures. :(

And I think EEs can come in any comb type, any color or pattern, bearded or muffed, etc. So I think it is technically possible that EE can come in rose comb but mine are both pea combs. So idk. Most I've seen are too so I might be wrong and they might only come in pea comb but idk. I though I read that they can have any style comb so either pea comb is just the most popular one or I am wrong. What other breeds were possible in the assortment? That might help narrow it down as to what breeds could possibly have rose combs

I’ve had 4 EEs - two have looked quite similar and 2 were really different. Here is Luna - B91D7AD9-0619-4B7D-89C8-B4DBC0A12230.jpeg F5B0AB8A-2E7E-4242-B9C4-52BDDFB574C7.jpeg

I love EEs. They really are smart too. I’ve raised 9 different breeds now and the EEs have been the smartest. They have a ton of personality too. Plus their fluffy heads make them the cutest chicks ❤️

In the meantime, here is an excellent link on colors that you may find interesting or helpful!

A fun link! New to chickens and looked at this link with my child. We just got 3 EE chicks - two are the darker variety and one is light white/grey/blond. This link has 3 chicks similar (but not exact) to ours, so we've been speculating on the colors. Here they are on day 5:

If she stays light colored, her name will be "Galadriel" from LOTR. Her wing feathers indicate she might have some dark coloring though.

Looks a bit reddish, so child wants to name this one "Tauriel" from the Hobbit (a made up female elf that the movie producers added in to the story, I don't think Tauriel exists in Tolkien's Middle Earth).

Those muffs and beards! All of them remind child of Dwarves from LOTR or The Hobbit, so I think the next Dwarf names under consideration are :Bifor, Bofur, and Bombur, Kili, and Fili.

Aww how awesome! I'm glad you and your child found the link interesting and/or fun! And your chicks are adorable! I love the LOTR/Hobbit names! I haven't seen all the movies but did like the few that I saw :)

I'd like to watch all of them and Star Wars, maybe over the summer haha
