I'm hoping both of mine are hens!I have 2 EE chicks and they are feathering out beautifully! One has a muff and a tan head and greyish body and the other looks like a baby hawk with lines on her face and a dark chocolate color. Can't wait to see them full grown!
Awwww, thank you!Wow they turned out BEAUTIFUL! So many blues.Where did you get them?
Awwww, thank you!
They hail from Cackle Hatchery.I've been spoiled....never getting EEs anywhere else again.

I would recommend Cackle for other breeds other than JUST Easter Eggers, too!No problem!
And wow I'm gonna have to go there!
I got mine from Meyer and they're beautiful too and great layers but yours are so gorgeous.
I would recommend Cackle for other breeds other than JUST Easter Eggers, too!The 3-per-breed minimum is rather ridiculous, but I otherwise couldn't be happier with their birds.
I, too, adore my Meyer EE.She may not be stunning, but she's a sweetheart as well as proficient layer. Totally understand why you love yours!

Definitely not a deal-breaker for someone who's obsessed!Oh wow, 3 per breed is definitely a little annoying if you only wanted a few but not a deal breaker lol
Although right now I don't know if I'd have the room but maybe one day hah
And yeah, mine are great! A little skittish but I also don't spend much time with them. But mine are great layers. One of them stopped laying for like 6+ months in fall/winter but she was also laying huge eggs and I think being bullied. But she stopped earlier and started later lol but now she's back to laying daily. My other one lays every day and was great even in winter, barely slowed down lol I think she did stop at one point but not for long and she was also the first chicken to lay haha although an Orpington was second same day lol but it was early, like 22 weeks. I think they all were vy 24 or 26. They're 2 1/2 now and my EEs still lay every day. They're actually outlaying my Australorps who aren't even laying right now lol
