we have a sp male an sp hen is it 25%white 50%sp an 25% dark pied ?an when breeding to our white hen will it be like 50/50 white to sp.thanks we have gotten 3 eggs in 4 days they are cranking them out now.lol

First is right 1:2:1 split If the white was out if is SP the 1:1 Is right.

As with breeding any pied pattern of peafowl the ratio is 1-2-1. When breeding Silver Pied to Silver Pied you get an average of 25% white, 50 % Silver Pied, 25% Dark Pied “White-Eyed”.

Unless you have a Silver Pied pair like I had only hatched Whites and nothing else

thanks guys starting to figure this hole breeding thing out.lol ya right little blue is sooooo excited to hatch her own peachicks this year.we are going to keep one hen to breed with our ib what color should we keep does it matter will all the off spring just be ib split to white
