I think it's call the "free arm somethin somethin" lol You take it off so you can do hems or sleeves, etc.... I've got a Brother machine but a different model.


Hey Saddi! Did you put the "you know what for so-n-so" in the mail?! Want to send it out with the blocks at the end of the month.

Kate if I get a new machine, I'll send you my old one for your kids. It's not fancy, just zigzag and straight, but that's all you really need for making quilts. It's 10 years old, but has never given a bit of trouble.

Hmmm code-speak,,,, lol,, Thank you so much! We have our last meeting of this year next week,, how sad is that? The ladies from the quilt guild brought each of the members a kit with 12 squares of muslin and patterns to embroider on them over the summer. They had the muslin, embroidery thread, hoops, needles, scissors, everything! They told them to do them over the summer and they would help them put them together into a quilt next year. And they said for the ones leaving us to the middle school they would set up a special day to help them too!

We never got a book with that one, and it's in the shop right now.. the last day of school it quit on us and no amount of bribery could get it started,, depending on what we are told on it we may not have it anymore, it might be too expensive to fix. I was hoping to hear something but I'm going to PM Ms. Saddi and let her know!
