What Would I Get?

I'm tossing around the idea of taking a young rooster from a friend of mine. They are offspring to a Light Brahma rooster and a Speckled Sussex hen. If I take one of them and breed it to my light brahma hen and also to my speckled sussex hen, what would I get? Would it be obvious, that the chicks are mutts, or would the main common genetics come through? I'm considering doing this and selling the chicks and fertile eggs.

Also wondering about the personality. Her rooster is very sweet and beautiful. What are the chances that his offspring will be the same?

The offspring would be mixes like you said. Her rooster's personality will reflect in his offspring (seeing he goes to a good home), so will his crow.
