I have noticed when the sun hits them just right and they shake their head you'll see a spray. Maybe it's the hay? But why the diarrhea?

Can you take some poop to a vet to get tested?
It's cheap.

I have noticed one leghorn has lost some weight compared to her sister. They used to be the same size and she looks a little roughed up now. But she still lays. But sneezes a lot and we picked the black gunk of her beak but it's back the next day.

We could but we are 30 miles from a vet. Wanted to get advice here first.

Could be an respiratory infection/illness ..
It's hard to diagnose "online"
Vet would be the best option.

sounds like a mold or fungus.

I have 5 hens just noticed there nostrils are black and lightly sneezing. They hsd mites and i used DE in their Coop. It's everywhere to stop the mites. I dusted them too. What should I do?
