What would you do??

I just had a big talk with DH about this this morning. His brother can really not be a nice person and DH thinks it is he who has the problem, not his sister. We weren't suprised about BIL. As for SIL, she generally comes across as nice, but she has been persnickety on several occassions. DH convinced me that it is BIL who has the problem, which I already knew he had one, I just figured SIL had a problem too. But I'm starting to think she could be innocent in this.

DH was driving this week to the general area to deliver some puppies, and has decided to go on Saturday so he could go to the party too. I'm going to go with him now and our plan is to just drop by and give our good wishes and leave after about 30 minutes. We will play it by ear and if things go well, maybe stay longer.

I appreciate all your responses, and I found cmjustO post very interesting especially after having that talk with my husband. I LOL that she said practically the same thing he said and had to show my DH.

JAnd just to clarify...we have never visited my BIL at his house before or after this incident. We haven't visited SIL after this incident either, this will be the first time since it happening. I'm pretty sure she would have told us if the kids had broken something, she is pretty direct about things like that.
