Definitely agree! I have a single female lovebird and boy can she be noisy! They also can learn and repeat irritating noises as well LOL

Zebra or society finches are great though! All of them can come in a variety of color mutations as well so you can have a few that are each different colors. I find them very relaxing to watch after a stressful day and the males have a beautiful song. Both kinds do get along very well BUT if one of the females is laying and sitting her partner will defend the nest not letting anyone else near just like any other kind of bird. I find my male zebra finch especially likes to sit on eggs and steal the others nests haha. I'll post some pictures of mine for you to see once I find them on my computer
