I found out today that I am allergic to nearly everything. I have to go on a special diet. The silver lining is that probably most of my multiple illnesses this year were caused by allergies.
I had the one of the worst reactions to allergy testing that the whole office has ever seen since I am allergic to so many things. They had to give me benadryl, zyrtec, a steroid shot, and an inhaler, cuz, oh yeah, I was diagnosed with asthma too.
I am really very bummed right now and don't feel well from all the allergens I was exposed to, could take days for symptoms to go away.
Sorry and FYI I won't be complaining about all this stuff after this post because I know it's a bummer when people do that. I just need some time to absorb all this. Most likely what you'll "hear" me say is something about starving to death because of this strict and very limited diet!
Love ya'll,

ps, and YES I am allergic to eggs, feathers, dogs, cats, and horses along with a ton of other things.
Im sorry you have been haveing so many problems. If you stick strictly to what you are sapose to do and eat , if you have air born allergies as well as food , air filters , freqent dusting vacumeing luandry ect can really help.. especally if you can get someone else to do it. Allergies get worse and get better and you can also suddenly become allergic to something you handnt been allergic befor to , I love rats they are my favorit pet ever above cats dogs horses heck even chickens

and I had rats for probly 10 + years when in over a course of about 6 months I became more and more and more allergic to them till what started out as hives and skin irritation and went to also watery eyes and tickly throat ended up with haveing to nebulize my self every 6-8 hours and take 2 prevnative meds and go thru 2 or more resuce inhalers a month .. I can probly never again hold or snuggle a rat and I know people arnt rat people uselly but immagine if that with your chickens or your horses or whatever..
I hope that you get right in the groove with what you need to do and become super well and feel awsome .

I was woken up early thi morning by my husband standing beside me and telling me, "it's not good." I knew what he meant... The chickens. Another **** raccoon killed six more last night. I moved the two little cages I had babies in to the run, trying to protect them from the coon that chewed through the mesh Tuesday night. Somehow I climbed over the run fence, and killed three of my pullets by reaching into the wire and pulling them to the side. It didn't touch the really young babies. Then it went into the coop and got three of my hens. I couldn't manage to keep it together today... I had a break down.

I am at a loss. My new baby pen isn't finished yet as I have been laying tile at my sister-in-laws and haven't had the time to finish it. I will be spending even more time and money to further coon-proof my Orloff pen (I am thankful that they were all spared!) and I'm ordering an automatic chicken door. My brother-in-law came over to help my take care of the carnage, and he is excited to kill whatever is messing with the girls. He is bringing a trail cam, a buddy, and an arsenal of weapons (I can only imagine) and is camping out all night in y yard to catch whatever is responsible. What men won't do for a case of beer! Lol.

I feel a little better knowing that they will be out there keeping the chickens safe. I can't believe this is happening! I have never had any type of predator problem. Why now??

Though yours is much worse. I feel your pain. Ever since spring started I have sneezing fits all day everyday. This is what spring and summer do to me. Until fall and winter I will keep sneezing. Also I get shortness of breath in this heat and hibranate in the house during the day if it is too hot cause my Asthma can't take the heat. I have had Chronic Asthma since I was diagnosed with it when I was 13. I can't even walk up the steps without being out of breath. If I get too upset it sends me into an attack or if I am in a tight space I go into an attack and can't have doors or windows closed in my bedroom or I feel like I can't breath. I hope they can figure something out for you. But you know yourself better and I am sure you will figure out what is best for you and be you own best doctor.

I feel for everyone's medical issues. I have them too. But this post reminded me of my husband who passed away many years ago. This happened after his first heart attack...

He had the test where they inject radioactive dye to check his arteries for blockage. That night after we went to bed, we were talking about it. He was thrilled because he got to watch it all on a monitor. We turned out the lights and I rolled over to kiss him goodnight and exclaimed "LOOK! Your chest is glowing!" He sat up and looked down at his chest "Where? Where?" I guess I was pretty convincing. Maybe you had to be there, but I had him for another 5 1/2 years after that, until his second heart attack.

Yeah, they have a whole regimen of shots 2-5 years, planned for me, along with this Caveman Diet and food challenge to find the culprits and their symptoms. I am really glad that I finally have an answer as I have been to many doctors this year-none of which recommended or suggested that all these problems could be allergies!!!

Anyway!!! PAULETTA!!!!! Thank you for the swap items and the awesome Girl Army Bear & baseball! SO cute!! She's going to flip when she gets home from work!
Love you girl!!!

"Land Combat Missile Repairer" is the job she chose, still has to go to MEPS, pass and sign for it though.
