Well, we can start a club. I was told I should be a bubble baby, in other words I should be living in pure air bubble because I have allergies to lots and lots of stuff. Thankfully, no food allergies. After years of shots and meds, I stopped the shots and meds and deal with the allergies on a day by day basis. I try to stay away from some of the things that really set me off (mold) but I will not give up my animals. I just don't cuddle them on my bad days. I do truly feel for you because unless someone has walked in the shoes they can't understand how awful it can be. There are truly days where it is hard to function. I hope the meds help gets yours under control.I found out today that I am allergic to nearly everything. I have to go on a special diet. The silver lining is that probably most of my multiple illnesses this year were caused by allergies.
I had the one of the worst reactions to allergy testing that the whole office has ever seen since I am allergic to so many things. They had to give me benadryl, zyrtec, a steroid shot, and an inhaler, cuz, oh yeah, I was diagnosed with asthma too.
I am really very bummed right now and don't feel well from all the allergens I was exposed to, could take days for symptoms to go away.
Sorry and FYI I won't be complaining about all this stuff after this post because I know it's a bummer when people do that. I just need some time to absorb all this. Most likely what you'll "hear" me say is something about starving to death because of this strict and very limited diet!
Love ya'll,

ps, and YES I am allergic to eggs, feathers, dogs, cats, and horses along with a ton of other things.
