babymakes6 - Look at the turkey poults now. We have 2 hens and a Tom!

And the Orpingtons, too. Ended up with 1 pullet and 7 roos.

I am trying to decide if I want to keep a roo, or just the pullet. You can see the pullet and 3 of the roos in the picture.

Glad you got a trio out of the turkeys! That's perfect! Sorry about the Orp luck, though.....

My daughter was in 4H for the 1st time this year and bought 3 chickens to show. She did well with blue ribbons and had a good experience showing them

She won a trip to the State Fair, but we had to decline to go because of some issues. She didn't mind the fact that we were down there all 4 days to make sure they were fed and watered. She now has plans for next year! It is still a small county fair, but it has lots of exhibits to see (animal and otherwise) and not an overabundance of games and rides.
My son entered some photos in open class and won Grand Champion and Premier Exhibitor in the Junior class - apparently he has a good photographers eye (who knew

This week will be a little less hectic (maybe)

I have 7 serama eggs i can send tomorrow morning, plus if i get 1 or 2 today.

ok now I want to talk about the incubator and eggs LOL.....If you like and want candles, I can supply more than pictured, I have 4 lg that look like Christmas gifts and can get out the box for pics
I am interested in LF FBCM or WELS but mostly FBCM, I have 8 eggs in my home made bator now and 6 are looking good
