I think I got my first duck egg today!

I can't be sure because it is the same size and color (green) that one of my EE pullets lays

, but it feels and candles differently. I found it in the bushes where my EEs usually don't lay (they share the same yard at the moment). They are 4.5 months old. Is it possible it is a duck egg? These are the runner ducks I hatched April 3rd from Mimis_Place's eggs.

Perfect because I have a little MF hen with no partner yet. I have a buff black tail Serama hen I am sending you. She is a little chunk but she's laying regularly. I'll get a pix for you.

I had a boss one time who had 2 have a lobe from each lung removed and I had to cover for her and it happened the day I got released from the hospital from having 6 broken ribs and a punctured lung myself. The other girl was out of the country her mother was dying. So i was it they propped me up in a chair and I had to work. Good thing we already worked at a hospital.
Wow, bet that was really tough! Bless your heart, hope everyone turned out ok.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have a cabinet incubator and separate cabinet hatcher. I can set up to 300 eggs at a time. I have about 50. If you are in the area or want to send some eggs to me in the mail, I'll set them too. Willing to set them for trades (only if you agree and if they are breeds that I want. What I usually do is keep a certain number of the chicks, depending on how many hatch instead of charging - usually 2 chicks of every 12 that hatch, but it does depend on the breed and quality) or, if you want to keep the chicks once they hatch, I usually charge about $1 an egg to hatch them for you. Will give discounts for larger batches. These are a very reliable, self turning, accurate to the tenth of a degree, emergency shut off if temp gets too high, and digital humidity read-out incubator and hatcher. Can hatch just about anything in these two. If interested or you'd like more info, feel free to send me a private message or visit www.HensonAcres.com. Thanks!!!

My friend just bought me a ton of Muscovy and Pekin eggs. They are mixed up because he was sick and the person collecting didn't mark them. I have hatched chocolate, lavender and black scovys fom these eggs. PM me if you are intrested in a trade. :D

Ok please please tell me Im not the only one that looks at the following pictures and wonders what the best way would be to turn it into an AWSOME home made bator.

Im crazy arnt I . I was thinking the 2 doors on the sides could be where all the electic componants are and then you could use the first drwar as a candler and candler station and the bottom two as storage ... If they didnt want some much for it I would try it lmao , I dont suffer from insanity I enjoy every minute of it.
