I know quite a few of you got Blue Sex Link eggs from me most of the year and since it was my first year I didn't have any pictures of adults.

These are about 8 months old and HUGE. They are laying great and are going to make some great dual purpose birds...they weigh a ton!

I feel like a chicken running around with it's head cut off. Been soooooo busy this week. Gonna be busy busy for the rest of the week too. running around for 2 of my boys b-day party this weekend. There b-days are 1 week apart. I am baking and cooking and running errands and filling orders I owe out. And then the lazy chickens stopped laying again so I had to buy store bought eggs to finish my baking.

No reason to not be getting any eggs with all the hens I have.

Hope the rest of the week goes smoothly for you and the b-day party is a hit (I'm sure it will be). I understand about the eggs to hens ratio. I'm getting next to nothing too, except Silkie eggs - really? Silkies are laying when no one else is (strange chicken world)
