I have alot of respect for teachers and I think anyone who works with teens, lots and lots of teens, all day has to be just a wee bit nuts. Having said that I will say I went back to work on the 4th drving one of my three routes, started the second one this week and next week the third one starts making for a 7+ hour day on a bus. I know I'm nuts since I've been doing it for 21 years now....lol.


PS this is why I can only get to the PO once a week....sorry.

there is a little photo icon, kind of looks like a tree, it'll pop open a window and just put the link to the image in, take off the [ img ] thing on the front and back if you copied it from your uploads

Let me know what color you like so I can custom make it for you. I can not take eggs, or more chickens. But I do need plants and seeds to plant at my new home!!

Mrheinz, I feel your pain! I have a BA in English and a minor in History. This year I'll be teaching both (only person in the school who is part of two departments) again for the fifth year. I've been moved again with a three week notice before school started. This will be my fourth classroom in five years. I also kept getting whiney complaining phone calls about coming out to move on my own time. I gave after the third, dragged my three kids out with me to box up everything and meet with the custodians who would be helping me move all my junk down two flights of stairs. Of course no elevator. Monday I got a call from our secretary who wanted me to driven hour round trip out to the school to move textbooks off a bookshelf so they could move the bookshelf. Thing was, they had to move the books too...so why again did I have to drive out there??

Sorry, didn't mean to unload! I love teaching teenagers, I hate politics and stupidity . It makes me rant and I apologize!

If someone posts something you want, you say mine and then offer something of yours. Then someone else will take that and offer something new...it's more like a swap chain, unless you are only wanting to do side swaps...

I always say if I leave teaching, it will be the interaction with the students I will miss. The rest will be a relief.
