@chiqita Here is another one from you. It came from the same swap as the OE. He doesn't have feathers down his dark legs but he does have 5 toes. He has the cutest little crow ever. lol

The other silkie is a month younger. She came from ebay eggs.

Hrm. Im guessing that was flame and my partridge showgirl hen. Some of the chicks she popped out had funny combs . I dont have her anymore :(.Or possibly my frizzle boy he was redder. But that does not look like any chick I have hatched either! It does look shockingly like flames father however. Rhose really red buffs still have red combs pop up. But not straight combs wth! I love the vibrant buff

I have a silkie just like the one on the right. Was wondering if the color is considered buff or red. It is almost a year old and has not crowed or layed an egg. Have no idea what sex the sweet little thing is :)

Both are buff. They are called golden silkies in Australia and that gives you an idea of colors. red buff is just very vibrant and often has partridge genes ( a LOT of chickens carry partridge, but those guys more so) Mo is expressing the partridge ( black on tail, black on neck) but its not very clear, so people will argue about if he is a buff/red/partridge or has autosuminal leakage. I'm a novice at that stuff however so I just say I like red.

I want to know if his chicks have walnut combs or not now, and I am wondering if I still have a hen that carries recessive straight comb!

He is cute!!!

A little diversion from topic: I need to come up w some smaller yet equally desirable offers than the brooder panels I have (expensive to ship). Would there be an interest in 1 pt. of creamed honey? I'm also working on making poo-pourri knock offs and would ship 3 (I think they are 4oz each) bottles of scents of the claimers choice. Poo-pourri value of that would be about $45.00... But would be much less shipping wise. Has anyone ever tried poo-pourri or made their own? It works really well (or so my bf says because you know.... My stuff doesn't stink ;) )
I don't want to be claiming things if people aren't interested in my offers... All my chickens are mixed together now so I don't have any pure eggs... Someone asked me that in my last offer and it was claimed before I could answer so I sort of forgot to reply to them (sorry!)
