what if you cut it up and throw away the dead stuff and replant somewhere? Its a shame to let something like that go

i thought the color of the flower on the hydrangeas changes dependent on what type of soil they are in.... like acidic vs alkaline

ok i found a web site on them and yes the color can change dependent on the p-H of the soils and you should prune them before the end of july...

Wow so what a week! Parents left for louisiana on Monday. Friends from Louisiana show up a few hours later, only stayed one day though... Then DH had full sedation dentistry Wed, of course I wasn't feeling well! Then he got crazy from the medication.

Then I was really ill Thursday and he was supposed to be watching 17 month old DS..... Well he packaged one of my swaps and sent it totally not to my liking but

it arrives in one piece. The worst part was that while he was "watching" our son..... DS managed to grab the huge cutting board I had toppers finished and ready to send out to Saddina and MrHeinz and well when I came out of the bedroom...... DS was COVERED in fondant and coloring from the toppers he was very much enjoying! He thought it was hilarious. Part of me was wanted to

but mostly I was

! SO today I had to remake all of those fondant pieces! Sorry... I just really need to

a little bit!

Anyway needless to say those toppers are going out in the morning!

Thanks Heather! It's already better. I just think I'll have to stick to plants and books until I can get all my livestock projects sorted. I LOVE cake artistry and miss it dearly. I just don't have the same kind of time I used to when I did it professionally. I just took on WAY too much in the last few weeks! Time to try and relax a bit. In fact I think I'm going to drink a glass of wine on the back deck and watch the sunset cast it's glow on Mount Hood!
