Congrats Buffbeauty on your daughter's win.

The puppies are all in new wonderful homes so now I can get back to some swapping and chicken projects that I haven't had time for. I know I owe Nat the pie filling and jelly which will go out tomorrow. Do I owe anyone else anything? With the puppies I lost track of my swaps.

Kristi, just just checked your eggs, had 4 duds, 2 ameraucanas and another ameraucana egg that had a ring of blood. As long as i get a couple for genetic diversity i'll be happy.

you know it dawned on me today, I never did get that shakeweight... I claimed it back in july I believe....

I was looking forward to that... oh well. Cant win em all.

On another note, I spent the majority of my day off building a double pen for the calls, that was time consuming and it still isnt finished.... almost there though.

Thought I'd share some pics. This WAS an 8x12 barn divided into 3 compartments by 2ft wall and chicken wire with doors to walk through for feeding egg collecting etc. There were pop doors down the left side where they could go out into their runs. This is what housed all my breeders/show-ers. Luckily I had them all with me at crossroads. Unfortunately the front half was also housing my brooder with about 30 gorgeous LF faverolles chicks that hatched last week. I guess the brooder light fell. Not sure how....
