Have me freakin out now.... I have 3 lamps going out in the barn. 75 watt reptile lights, but wow.... you never know.

OMG BUff Im so so sorry! I stopped using heating lights last year for fear of that-I use 75-100 watt bulbs now..If a heating light dropped in my barn-it would be up in flames within minutes with all the hay and bedding!

[Stuck in the Coop]

When I went to let the birds out I found bluish gray feathers all over the yard, obviously the cats killed something..but what? Found the weirdest foot I could not identify, so started searching. This is what the feet look like

turns out to be an American Coot

never even seen one before and now my cats ate one. Weird, and makes me wonder why they never even look at the chickens. Matter of fact, they eat and drink out of same bowls with the chickens.
