It has been dry here too, even the weeds are wilting. We may get some rain this weekend. I had to water the garden. I feel wilted too with all this heat . I don't even want to go outside:p

I dont like going out either. I try to stay in the a.c. unless I have to go take care of the critters.

Okay so an update for things I can potentially offer or side swap for!

I have 1.5#s of the crystalized ginger though first dibs goes to corancher - it's certified organic seriously amazing stuff - paid 22$/lb

I have organic lavender buds/ culinary lavender and lavender flowers available at $3.5/oz

I want to figure out a way to package it properly but I have a TON of honey that I get from two friends one in Corvallis and one on Sauvie Island at their organic farm. I think the Corvallis honey is just wild flower but the Sauvie is the blackberry honey. They have their hives literally in the middle of a blackberry forest so to speak. Anyway I'll see what containers and sizes work best with that. I've got about 80lbs and that's after making beer and mead

I'll have to see about the comfrey. I want to make sure it transplants well before I send it. I have a friend that gave me the original plant and it's doing really well. I'll have to see if there's more I can get from her.

I also have yarrow if anyone brews beer or is into the herbs! That's it for now I think!

Oh and I'll have chantrelles and possibly truffles in the fall. Whites for sure and maybe some blacks

I will be ALLLLL over that!

I have blackberry and razzberry plants I can swap for if anyone is interested???

I certainly want some of the ginger but a little goes a long way so will not need 1.5 lbs. I am thinking maybe a 1/2 lb so that leaves a pound up for grabs. As for the honey, we have a local farmer that has melon blossom honey and they put theirs in regualar pint and quart sealed canning jars. I am not sure how they get them sealed but I will ask since I pick produce up from their stand daily to give to the birds and pigs.

I am interested in some of the culinary lavender also. So put me on the list for ginger, honey, & lavender. PM me and we can figure out what I have that you are willing to swap for.
