i think they are beautiful birds. If you have any extra "experimental" eggs I would love to hatch them.

Does anyone else have to keep thier baby chicke seramas aways from the others. I say babies. They are 4 weeks old (were) and a few of them let everyone squish them to death last night. And one of the had thier feather pecked off. What is that about? The coop is easy 65-70 even in the middle of the night. And they have more than enough room, I only have 13 in that space. It's 3 ft X 8 foot. Is that too small for small chicks? I am glad I keep the even smaller one in the house. I was hoping to keep them in the coop for 2 more weeks. But now I am not sure.
Thank you. I have got them all seperate now. SO sad. And they silkies are aggressive. Not mean just pushy. Everyone has to move out of thier way when they come struting by.. Time to finish building coops I guess.
