I don't know how you will keep those Koi from swimming away once they are painted. The body is so realistic!

Thanks. That was my first attempt. I feel like I could get them really amazing with a few more attempts but those will definitely do for now!

Winter Sowing is easy to do! With this creative and easy germination method you will be able to start hardy seedlings for pennies. Winter Sowing is done outdoors during Winter using mini-greenhouses made from recyclables; there are no heating devices, no energy wasting light set-ups or expensive seed starting devices.

Been doing this since.. 99 (used to be on GW quite a bit back then), it works well, especially for anniuals.

Hey! I have a polish/glw hen that looks just like her! Her name is Polly Pullet (even though she's a hen now!). Aren't they adorable?? They could be sisters!

has anyone on here had a chick hatch with the yolk sac still attached? I have a little guy who hatched out today with it. Luckily he's the only one in the bator. I've been picking him up to drink fluid with electrolytes and vitamins. I figure since he's still ingesting it he's nowhere near ready for actual food. I'm just going to leave him in the bator and see how he fares. Just curious of anyone else has dealt with it.

yeah most dont make it but a few do, they just need time to absorb as long as they still have that yolk sac they dont need food or water. That is the luxury of chicken babies versus gamebirds LOL
