I have 5 Black Split Silkie eggs developing. :Woot I candled again last night. One is a little iffy. It has a wobbly air sac and is developing right along the air sac. The others of the 9 don't look like they are doing anything. I'm leaving them in the incubator though. Hoping for a good hatch.

Peggy, If you see this I had 7 of 11 out last night when I left. My incubator is at my house that I have yet to live in. My wife has Spinal Muscular Atrophy (a form of Muscular Dystrophy) and is wheelchair bound. We've been remodeling the house but it is hard with little time. We have lived with her parents our whole married life. Of the four left, three more were pipping. So even if 10 hatch, 10 out 12 isn't bad.

I have 16 dozen duck in the fridge.

I have just gotten some of my egg customers to try them and actually sold a dozen last night

FINALLY ! We eat them but they lay 10-15 eggs a day, we just can't possibly consume that many. I have blue & white...BUT they lay right on the ground so they are dirty, my DD washes them, but they are stained. So I doubt they would be good unless you know a way to unstain them.

I suppose they could be bleached, but since we eat them, we just use soap & water.

I have a box my checks came in that I put all receipts and DC receipts in. It beats going thru the file in the filing cabinet. That way I have them all in one small spot and they're actually in order as to when they where shipped or bought. When I make a sale and payment goes to paypal I write on the receipt part of the mailing label the screen name, amount of what was purchased and what was purchased and the amount of shipping and the payapal charge for the transaction.

I don't want Uncle Sam to come knocking on my door.
