It is the last of my pickles, too. I have one jar left that I am keeping. Time to get the garden going again-my shelves are getting pretty bare!

I would love to, but at 20 degrees outside, it isn't happening here for quite a while yet! I am so anxious for SPRING, so I CAN get things going again! I don't know how much I will be able to do this year either, with a new baby in June it may be rather difficult.

Did I ever tell you that my nieces and nephews were totally THRILLED with the Breyers? We didn't go to PA for Christmas this year, like we normally do, so I didn't get to see them, but they called me that night to tell me thank you!

Here are pics of the 2 new hens and 1 roo that came in the mail today.

I will try and get better pics tomorrow. Today I just wanted to get them some water and feed. They even laid eggs in the shipping box for me. Little sweeties! I was so worried about them being shook up and frozen but when I reached in the box, they were snuggly warm and seemed very comfy. So now I have 2 hens, 2 roos, and a bator full of eggs!

What gorgeous birds! I swear you guys make it awful hard to stick to my chosen breeds when you show me birds like that

Made a bachelor pen yesterday so now I have room in Bantie coop for birds that are wayyyyy too old to still be in brooder, but they are small so it's worked. Temp is 45 today, going throw their spoiled butts outside and see how they fare.

Stupid Post office. Well I got my box from Emvickrey today and it was opened and emptied. No Fish Cutting board for me. I called claims and I know how this goes. They will never find it.
I can't stand the postal service anymore. They are really ticking me off. First thing they asked is "is it insured" I said no but someone sure had no problem opening my box and taking the contents out of it.

You can't tell me that a glued end of the box just magically came open. And then the cutting board just magically came out leaving all the bags and stuffing contents inside and not fallen out with the cutting board. I hope that postal worker enjoys there new cutting board.

Also to give you an update of the paint & LF cochin eggs. 0 on the paint eggs and only 1 of the cochin. I seriously think the po between us has got to be horrible...

I haven't told DD yet and she has soooo been hoping for one of those paint babies.

BABYmake6, You are right, she does needs some D'Uccles. Sell her some eggs girl! Hey I have lost count without going in the bators and looking for your name. Do I have more eggs coming? Just what I need right. But I am hoping for a good hatch rate. I think I got 12 and 7. Is that right? Help I have lost my mind.

Yes, when they get their act in gear again, you still get 2 more batches. They have not laid one egg since I started taking orders!

I sent 12 the first time, and seven the second time. Now, I am booked for about 2 months with orders, and they quit laying again!
