Yipee, Yipee! I got my first quail egg today. They hatched out Thanksgiving, so I was beginning to wonder if they were all male

I only have 7 so I'm glad someone is laying because I would like to hatch more out eventually. I need to identify the males and females but haven't had courtinix quail before and I'm not sure what I'm looking for. There are males in there because I've heard the "crowing", but haven't been there to see who it was.

Yup I had them and Pauletta was on them faster than a chicken on mealworms.... LOL

Oh well, my own fault for missing them. Any info you can give me on them so I can try to find them elsewhere? I collect sheepies and that sheepy was soooooo cute

I am pretty sure I got them from Cracker Barrel Restaurant & Store some years ago. I'll keep my eye out for more sheepie stuff. I got them because I love the "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" but I just have to part with some stuff.

**Question for the Goat Breeders on here~are any of you good at the POOCH test?

I posted on BYH and figured I would ask here as well.. DH thinks I'm crazy looking at goat 'lady parts' online, but a lot of people swear by it. I have pics of my girls if anyone's willing to take a stab at it for me..
