I'm in trouble... Was talking to the boyfriend about building something at my brother's farm plot for chickens... His response? "Why not just raise them here?" So, I'm cleaning up my incubator (huge cabinet incubator) and looking at button quail eggs, then "shopping" the swap list for chicken eggs, lol.

I have eggs galore...and beside being a hatch-o- holic... I Love to swap !

Thanks!! A friend of mine here locally, he stopped doing anything but deer the last few years.
Alot of guys are going to just Deer now. Maybe it is lack of interest in the others? dunno

Buttons are some of my favorites. I am not sure anyone else likes them as I can never sell them :p After buying eggs on ebay that were a bit pricey.... and them not even fertile.... I now will only shop with my swapper buddies.

**Side note:
Got my swap from Marie just a bit ago. Thank you Marie for all the extra's! The eggs in the second box arrived in perfect condition.

Weird, my buttons were my best sellers. They actually paid for everyone else. I traded fully feathered buttons to the shop for 50lb bags of feed, plus sold chicks to locals and eggs online. They actually brought in enough to cover their feed costs, the feed for my cornish x, the coturnix quail, ducks and a few layers.

Aww...modern game look like little dinosaur birds... we have a pair of bantams.

BTW... let me just say this is not a complaint... just a little future info...
shellyga (the sebright eggs you sent were not fertile) none of them delveloped and were clear... so you might want to trade in your roo for a newer model... LoL

On another note.... the D'Anver eggs I bought off ebay are popping out like popcorn and so darned cute.

I just hatched out 17 from the same pen.... sorry that you had trouble.

I've got a hunting club wanting to get Bobwhites from me, but they want more then I can give lol. I'll just have to see if I can find another avenue for the Buttons

Hubby seems to think they might have gotten x-rayed at the PO or they shook them and they got scrambled. No worries.
