It seems like to me Patty is as bad as the students.

Summer vacation just started and she's bored.

I've already read 4 books, gained 3 more chickens, cleaned the kitchen, hung another roost in the big coop, whattayawantfromme teacher man?? It's only been a week.

I'm only teacher man for a few more days. I started with 30+ 7th-8th graders in summer school and after a week I'm down to 3. Once those 3 are done, I am unemployed.

Jeez. Do they "recover" classes online like we do? It sucks that a kid can makeup a semester or two of class by sitting in front of a computer for a few days.

They need to redo assignments and then take whatever test they failed. In my "previous" district, if a student scored below a 70% on even 1 test, they did not pass unless they came in for reteaching and retesting outside the school day and earned at least a 70%. I've had students with a 45% and get a D- and students with a 75% and get an F because of this rule.

sounds just as bad.
Sometimes I think about leaving it. I love to teach, the actual teaching part. But the bureacracy and BS sux.

That is why I am trying to figure out what I want to do. I really don't want to drive 45+ minutes to work every day, especially since I have Narcolepsy. After I left/was let go, you should hear everything the students have said to me about how I have changed their lives. If it was just teaching the students, there wouldn't be a doubt in my mind what I would do, but all the other "bovine dung" makes you wonder if it is worth it.

All too true. My neighbor just told me she's no longer going to pursue teaching classes @ college and isn't going back to school as an Instructional Assistant next year. She's going back to the business world.

I stopped tryng to use paypal for shipping anymore. I always have to void the label and request a refund and it takes 10 days to get it back. The USPS is slow and often I have to wait a few hours and try again because they site is having problems but at least I don't have to void the label and request a refund. That always takes from my part of the money and I have to wait basically to get paid.

Does anyone have some LG (white) quail egg racks, my friend wants he to hatch 250+ eggs for him, he has a set for his turner, but I need some for mine, checking here before scoping online
