Grats Cashew on the new babies!!! Sounds like a good way to spend the 4th. :O)

I had a huge hatch from FarmerChef and CPL. Thank goodness for FarmerChef's little code card, I'd have no idea what these little ones are.

You are so right! LOL My sister thought I needed another one too. I personally was not too sure. Maybe too soon. But this one was the Beebe swap meet. Said they brought it from Oklahoma. Poor thing had a belly full of worms, But I took her to the vet and got her all taken care of. She has grown on me and my husband. I am very happy with her but we sure do miss Sissy. So far she can sit, stay and is doing very well with potty training, as well fetching the ball and bringing it back. Here are some pics of her.

Those birds are just beautiful!! Like song birds.

Pauletta, glad to hear your up for a new dog. A house without a dog is just too quiet and clean!

Just wanted to share some photos of my Russian Orloff chicks... they are my first babies from my own flock!

5 week old babies

6-7 week old chicks

I'm really hoping this is a pullet... she is my first ever from my own flock! She has a fantastic beard/muff...

What a beautiful baby! She will definitely add some happiness to your life, without taking away your memories of Sissy.

Okay just finished the pics from the auto feeders I put in. At first I did not think they would work but I waited a few days and sure enough they peck at it and the feed continues to flow down. Now I will work on the 50 gallon drums for the automatic watering. Got to get it done before my trip on the 18th. What do you think?

I think they are LOVELY! If only I had ONE MORE chicken coop.........

I could easily go chicken crazy.

Gosh, you guys have all been busy in this heat! Hubby was back in the hospital. He had a heart attack. His bypass grafts didn't take and they can't fix them. I will be selling a lot of chickens. Now to decide who goes and if any stay. I just got the Lav and Partridge Silkies going good, the Lav Ameraucana just started laying. Don't know how to pick who I want to keep. So much work and energy put into them.
