Only 147. Then I set everything I had laying around even some mixed bantams, they are the last of my mixed bantam flock that is no more, they have gone to live with my friend.
I did some major house cleaning and chicken shifting to make room for the new flocks I have growing out in my brooders/grow out pens. After Paulettas visit and chicken drop and my other friends came the next two days to pick up what I hatched or sent to their places I am in major chicken depression. So I am planning an Ohio meet up / swap with some of our members here.![]()
Once the heat let's up we have some pens to build.
I am hoping to go to. So far Hubby said he didn't mind if I go.

. But those predators are eating chickens year round out there and I was replacing chickens year round. I would get far more calls then I had chickens to offer.
