I've read alot that cayenne pepper will get hens to lay but I've never tried it. What form do you use. I've seen the kind thats ground up thats used as seasoning and i've seen whole peppers dried and packaged. I've also on occasion seem them in the produce section. Whats best to use?
On the DE, I sometimes sprinkle a little on their feed and I'll pour some in their favorite dusting spots. The quail I put some in a shallow dish and they roll and flop like crazy. They would do this everyday if I gave it to them everyday. It's funny to watch them dusting themselves.
